5 Pillars of
Every Practice
To prepare you for the next sections of the program, we need to
go over the
following five topics. These constitute the foundation of every practice; we
must understand them before we start fixing anything.
Knowing these components is similar to what we had to
learn about the anatomy of the teeth and mouth, before we began learning about diagnosis and
the treatment of diseases. There is a big difference though; this subject is not
nearly as boring!!
The most significant challenge in practice management is
creating a positive
image of the whole practice for your patients, a wonderful image that motivates them
to come back to you and tell others about you. The following five areas
each have distinctive roles in creating that image.
Here we start off with the main concepts. We
later learn about the diagnosis and treatment of our practice's problems
in the "tests and Tools" section.
